Former Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri is baffled by their treatment of William Saliba.
On-loan with Olympique Marseille this season, Saliba was outstanding for the weekend's 0-0 draw with PSG.
And Nasri, speaking to Marseille's official YouTube channel, said: “He has all the qualities to play in the Premier League. He's well built, quick and a good passer of the ball too.
"I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be in Arsenal's team."
Saliba's loan with Marseille doesn't include a permanent option. The defender has been on the books at Arsenal for two years, but is yet to make his debut.
