Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson was delighted to be part of their Europa League win against Lokomotiv Moscow.
Anderson helped Lazio to a 2-0 win on Thursday night.
“I returned full of motivation, I was given another very warm welcome here and worked really hard over the summer to get into shape," Felipe Anderson told Sky Italia.
“It's the start of a new project, we still have to get more well-drilled, but we're on the right track."
Anderson added: “I can improve every day. Everyone has their own timing and path, I am working to have that next step up in quality that everyone asks me for. I hope that it will come soon and I can use that to help the team.
“(Maurizio) Sarri wanted me from the start. He has very clear ideas, I arrived knowing he had faith in me and I wanted to give my best.
“He tells me that I need to improve in many aspects, but we'll do great things together over time. He asks for more movement off the ball and to trust my abilities."
