And the Bosnian admits a call from former City teammate Aleksandar Kolarov about joining him at Inter was a big factor in his decision.
He told La Gazzetta dello Sport, "Do you know who it was that phoned me? Kolarov.
"It was he who told me that Inter were interested, that there was the possibility of a transfer: 'They want you here, come'. And here I am..."
