You might not know his name, but you've probably seen his face. This is the man that made it to the red carpets without uttering a word. This is Khaby Lame, and you'll recognize him by his signature move.
He rose to fame on tiktok by making "response videos" to other viral "tips & tricks" on the Internet. The whole premise of his videos is to say "it's not that hard", and he definitely succeeded as he currently has more than 115 million followers - all without making a sound.
Naturally, fame brings along imitation. Recently, a car salesperson tried to make a similarly styled video and although the idea is a creative shot in the dark, the execution was...eh, see for yourself:
In the video, the sales person tried to show a situation where it's too tight to open up the car boot (but his own body was blocking it???). That is where this car's (Nissan Serena) dual back door can help. He then ends with Khaby's signature move.
Who knew that the legend himself would see this film, and his response? You can probably guess. Just to add salt to the wound, the video was aptly captioned "If you wanna copy me, do it in a right way". OUCH!
Well, all I can say to the sales person is kudos for the idea, but come on, you should've expected a "lesson" from Khaby if you did exactly what those viral videos on the Internet did. But hey, at least you're famous?
