Juventus have made a move for unsettled Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Blocked from joining Everton on-loan by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on deadline day, Van de Beek remains frustrated after failing to see his playing chances improve this season.

Juve sports chief Federico Cherubini has made contact with Van de Beek's agent Guido Albers about a move to Turin in January.

However Juve aren't alone, reports Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira, with Newcastle United's new owners also in contact.

Schira stated: "Donny van de Beek could leave Manchester United in January. Juventus have shown interest for the midfielder: Juve's sports director Cherubini has talked with his agent Guido Albers in the last days.

"Bianconeri are interested for a loan with option to buy. Newcastle also want him."
