Olympique Marseille management are becoming resigned to losing William Saliba back to parent club Arsenal.

Saliba is on a straight loan at OM from the Gunners without a permanent option.

OM president Pablo Longoria would be happy to hold talks with Arsenal about a fee for Saliba.

But La Provence reports Arsenal chiefs are at this stage counting on Saliba returning to London next summer.

Longoria will seek to open talks with Arsenal about Saliba, but faces an uphill battle to bring them to the table.
