The agent of Gareth Bale admits he didn't see eye-to-eye with former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.
Jonathan Barnett says the progress of Bale's career stalled under Zidane's management during the Frenchman's second spell in charge.
He said, "The injuries and misunderstandings of the last seasons with Zidane have slowed him down.
"It's a shame that he has stopped and is injured now, with Carlo Ancelotti again as Real Madrid coach. He broke his hamstring, so he has a long way to go."
Barnett also says Wales is now the priority for the veteran attacker.
He also told the Mirror: "It is a dream for him to be able to participate in a final phase of a World Cup with Wales. it is the most important thing for him right now, I think."
