A Malaysian woman named Hazieyah Affyqah shared to Twitter her traumatizing account of having almost fallen victim to a rape crime.

On the day of the incident, Hazieyah had ordered a Secret Recipe cake for her whole office via GrabFood. When she went outside to meet with the Grab driver to pick up her order, she noticed that the driver was acting strange— and then she saw it: his pants' zips were open, revealing his private part.

The Grab Driver then quickly grabbed her wrist, trying to pull her towards him. After a constant struggle, Hazieyah managed to free herself away from the pervert and ran back to her office. A police report was made shortly after.
According to Hazieyah, the details given on the Grab app showed that the driver assigned to her would be driving a silver Bezza, but the vehicle that the perverted driver in question arrived in a blue Bezza, which allows the possibility that he was using a fake ID.
It's sad that a woman's safety can easily be compromised even in the most harmless of a situation. It's time we stop telling women to be extra cautious and start telling men to simply piss off, respectfully.
