Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has clarified his comments about Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Tuchel earlier this week talked up the prospect of signing Haaland.
However, he has now stated: "I fell into a trap and wanted to be kind.
"I usually never talk about other teams' players but I tried to make it a fun thing instead of just saying no.
"I was simply joking. That's what happened, but okay. I should have known better."
