Manchester City defender Kyle Walker says England were 'below par' against Hungary on Tuesday.
The Three Lions could only manage a 1-1 draw at Wembley in their World Cup qualifying match.
Walker said after the game: "Over the last couple of years we've set such a high standard, we fell below par tonight. We're disappointed but it's a point in the right direction.
"They've won against good nations. We knew it would be difficult. When they're coming to our patch we need to do a little more in front of goal.
"We're a big nation now, we're a massive nation. Teams will set up differently. We have to try to break that down.
"It's a step in the right direction and we'll move on.
"There are still two important games coming up. We need maximum points. It's a point on the board and let's move on. It's a bad night."
