Liverpool U18s thumped Everton 4-0 at Kirkby on Saturday.

Goals from James McConnell, Oakley Cannonier, Bobby Clark and Stefan Bajcetic in the U18 Premier League North fixture gave the young Reds the well-deserved three points.

McConnell opened the scoring with a brilliant strike from distance after 21 minutes before Cannonier made it 2-0 early in the second half.

Clark scored in the 65th minute with a close-range finish as Bajcetic then completed a satisfying afternoon's work for Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's side.

Keyrol Figueroa was a late substitute for the Reds. He is the son of former Hull City and Wigan Athletic defender Maynor Figueroa.
