Manchester United great Peter Schmiechel was amazed by Aaron Ramsdale's save in Arsenal's win at Leicester City.
Ramsdale's heroics truly ensured Arsenal came away from the east Midlands with a clean sheet.
The 23-year-old most notably denied James Maddison from a free-kick with a stunning fingertip save shortly before half-time and made a further seven stops.
After Maddison's effort, Schmeichel - whose son was playing in goal for Brendan Rodgers' losing side - tweeted: "Best save I've seen for years by Ramsdale."
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta responded to the former Manchester United stopper's comments post-match, saying: "Coming from someone like him, he [Ramsdale] should take it the right way, it's a big compliment."
The Spaniard added on the save itself: "I've just seen the picture, it's incredible.
"When I was looking at it, I said 'goal' once and then twice and he saved them both.
"Those moments, those individual actions and performances are very necessary when you want to have certain momentum and consistency in results and we're getting a lot of them."
