Former Tottenham and Norway goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is safe at Manchester United.
Solskjaer is under huge pressure at United after defeat at Leicester City yesterday.
But Thorstvedt can't see United's board sacking the manager, telling TV2: "I think he is worried about how they look, but I do not think he spends a lot of calories on noise around his own job.
"It takes a lot for all that noise to have a significant result.
"They have a strong stability and have built stone upon stone. Are they good enough to go to the top? Hardly. But it is very surprising if the results are so bad that Solskjaer has to leave before the end of the season
"If they do not win anything this season, then I think questions will be asked."
