Watford have agreed a deal with veteran boss Claudio Ranieri to take over from Xisco Munoz.
The Hornets fired Munoz after a poor start to life as a Premier League club, as they have seven points from their opening seven matches.
According to Sky in Italy, Ranieri is all but certain to take over from Munoz, as he is expected to travel to the club to sign his contract on Monday.
Ranieri is most famous for guiding Leicester City to the Premier League title in 2016.
He has not worked since leaving Sampdoria at the end of last season.
