Newcastle United chiefs have two Bundesliga stars on their shopping list.
The club's new owners are actively drawing up a list of transfer targets ahead of the January market.
BILD says among the players under consideration are Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule and Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Filip Kostic.
Sule is off contract in June and has been eager to make a move to England for two years.
Kostic, meanwhile, has long been on the radar of Newcastle and came close to joining Lazio last summer.
