Former Holland star Giovanni van Bronckhorst was impressed by Manchester City attacker Ferran Torres on Wednesday night.
Torres scored twice for Spain in the Nations League semifinal victory over Italy in Milan.
Watching in his role as UEFA's observer, Van Bronckhorst said: “A great achievement.
"With his two goals he decided the game. He played the role of the striker very well after many had already said that Spain had no real striker at all."
Interestingly, Van Bronckhorst had a spell coaching at City working with manager Pep Guardiola.
