Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is tightlipped on his plans for Joe Gelhardt ahead of their clash against Norwich City.
Gelhardt helped rescue a point against Wolves last week from the bench.
Asked about starting the youngster, Bielsa said: "These are things you can't calculate. We have to go evaluating his participations, his interventions in the games.
"There is an important question to ask ourselves to resolve this: the player that's coming in and being a young player especially - does he do it to resolve the needs of the team or if he comes on for a team that is pre-dominating and needs a few touches. If we compare the game against Wolverhampton, he came on in a team that was pre-dominating and needed some corrections, and he managed to achieve it.
"If we compare what he did in the second half versus Arsenal, he came on for a team who was not pre-dominating in the second half and he couldn't change the course of the game by himself, which is natural. So the precisions that you're demanding can't be answered easily."
