
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was full of praise for young attacker Phil Foden following a 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
Foden was a key threat for City all game, battling against veteran James Milner on the left flank for much of the contest.
Despite having to settle for a point, Guardiola was happy with his team's display, and singled out Foden for praise.
He said, per the club website: "There are some performances where it's not necessary to talk about just watch.
"The performance speaks for itself. It was magnificent - he's a great player and an exceptional person.
"Phil is a special player, we know it. Fortunately he's back now, he's a fantastic player but not just him, Rodri Gabriel everyone was fantastic today."
