Villarreal are set to announce the signing of free agent Serge Aurier.
Released from his contract at Tottenham last month by mutual consent, the Ivory Coast international is signing for Unai Emery's Villarreal today.
Cadena SER says Aurier has passed a medical and will pen terms to 2024.
The defender was also being discussed at Real Madrid last week as potential cover for Dani Carvajal.
The 28 year-old Aurier will immediately be available to Emery for selection after doing preseason with Spurs.
