Karim Benzema insists he's not obsessed by the Ballon d'Or.
The Real Madrid striker is among the candidates for this year's Ballon d'Or, but Benzema has made clear that no player should be obsessed with individual accolades because it will prevent them from contributing as much as they can to the team.
"We have to think about [the Ballon d'Or] when we are ambitious," said Benzema.
"But it doesn't have to be an obsession that forces you to say that you just have to shine individually and score goals for yourself.
"If you have to win it, it's because of who you are, what you demonstrate on the pitch and because of what you do."
