Hamburg chief Jonas Boldt is happy for Xavier Amaechi to extend his loan with Bolton Wanderers.
The former Arsenal winger was loaned by HSV to Bolton for six months in order to collect match practice there. But at the beginning of the season, the 20-year-old broke his metatarsal and has been out since then.
Now the loan, originally scheduled until the winter market, could be extended.
Boldt said, “We are in talks. With the injury, it was extremely unfortunate for Xavier. If Bolton has a sensible idea, we can talk about an extension."
