Everton striker Richarlison says he appreciated the work of Carlo Ancelotti before he left for Real Madrid.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the Brazil international had plenty of positive words for Ancelotti and said there are similarities between his methods and that of current Toffees head coach Rafael Benitez.
"Ancelotti is a guy I'm so grateful for," he said. "He made me evolve a lot as a player and gave me a lot of off-field tips too, very valuable advice I will carry with me for a lifetime.
"He is extremely smart, with very well-defined ideas.
"Benitez follows the same line as Ancelotti. He knows very well what he wants from each player, is very demanding, and tries to get the best out of each one of us."
