Former Scotland coach Alex McLeish says Leeds United cannot afford to lose Raphinha.
The 24-year-old has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and PSG in recent weeks, but McLeish thinks that if Leeds were to sell mid-season, then they could be in serious danger.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said: "Losing (Patrick) Bamford through injury is bad enough. Losing Raphinha as well? Leeds simply can't let that happen.
"That will decimate (manager Marcelo) Bielsa's squad. It gives him a real issue. He is the heartbeat of that team, he's absolutely brilliant to watch. They can't let him go in January if they want to stay up, it's that simple.
"Not having Bamford or Raphinha in there creates such an uphill task for Bielsa.
"It would have to be an absolutely massive bid from one of these clubs in January, but that could happen. You can never rule it out, can you?"
