Penang, Kedah, Perak, Perlis to enter Phase 4 next Monday

KUALA LUMPUR – Penang, Kedah, Perak, and Perlis will join Sabah in Phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) starting next Monday.

In a brief statement from Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, he said this decision was made after the special meeting on Covid-19 management chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob today.

Hishammuddin added that the move to Phase 4 takes into account the risk assessment conducted by the Health Ministry and the National Security Council.
