Everton manager Rafa Benitez believes an amped up Goodison Park helped his side secure a point against Tottenham.
The Toffees may have been fearful of taking on Spurs in their first league game since the appointment of Italian coach Antonio Conte.
However, Benitez's Blues gave it their all throughout the game, and had enough chances to claim all three points at home.
"I have to say thank you to the fans, when they are behind the team, you can see how everybody works," said Benitez, per the club's website.
"I said so many times, the commitment of the players is there.
"We can make mistakes, we can concede goals and miss chances but in terms of commitment… the team has that.
"Today, from the first tackle, from the first minute to the last, everyone was giving everything, the fans were behind the team – the connection between players and fans was great.
"That is the reason we could keep the tempo high, even if we are short of fitness in midfield. Delph was great in the last game and this one but he was 10 weeks without playing and had a yellow card, so we had to make a sub.
"Allan had flu and was running a lot, so had to come off. So, it was difficult to keep the tempo.
"But I was really pleased with the attitude of the players and the way they were fighting until the last minute."
