Newcastle United are interested in Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch.
Grillitsch's contract with TSG runs to the end of the season and The Sun says Newcastle are interested.
It's suggested Newcastle would be prepared to make an offer in January to convince TSG to part with the 26 year-old.
An offer of €3.5-4.5m would be enough to convince Hoffenheim to sell.
Austria international Grillitsch also attracted enquiries from AC Milan last summer, though his €15m valuation at the time turned them off.
