Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was left unimpressed by Jorginho's performance for Sunday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Chelsea had to come from a goal down to secure a point after the Italy international played a role in both goals.
Jorginho handed Jadon Sancho the chance to open the scoring in the second-half after failing to deal with a high ball that was sent forwards by Alex Telles. But the midfielder redeemed himself as he levelled for the hosts from the spot 20 minutes later.
Hasselbaink slammed the 'silly' error and said the Ballon d'Or nominee should have headed it clear or passed back to his keeper.
"He should head it. It's arrogance. I'll take it down from the sky and play," he told Sky Sports.
"Two men coming at you, head the ball back. Sancho takes the goal really well.
"Technically he's a very good player but he's not blessed with pace. So he's never gonna get beyond Sancho.
"So you don't take the risk, just head it back have people behind you. Still need one goal to win the match but now it's a mountain to climb. Silly."
