Inter Milan chief Alessandro Antonello is happy with the progress of new stadium plans.
AC Milan and Inter are working together with the local council to get the new stadium project off the ground,.
“We are satisfied, but the first fundamental step was made by the local authorities," said Antonello.
“There were some changes from the original plan, we had to adjust to the new requests. It's not just a crucial project for the clubs, but the whole city.
“We split it into two phases, because getting the stadium done is fundamental. If there are no major hold-ups, we do hope the inauguration will be in 2027."
