Lverpool hero John Barnes has rejected claims Jurgen Klopp's defence is a problem this season.
Defeat to West Ham was the second successive league game in which they've dropped points, after a 2-2 draw with Brighton at Anfield.
Despite their recent drop in form Barnes is adamant they were just two bad days at the office in an otherwise fine start to their campaign.
“Liverpool conceding the three goals against West Ham wasn't a sign of defensive complacency, or an issue with the high-line they play", Barnes told Bonus Code Bets.
“The goals came from corners. Then they also scored a goal through one through ball, which can happen.
“Liverpool have lost one game in 26. We didn't lose against Brighton either.
“People are getting carried away if they think it's a disaster because they've drawn and lost a game."
Liverpool host a resurgent Arsenal in their first fixture after the international break on Saturday, November 20.
