Jamie O'Hara claims "Tottenham are back with a vengeance" after the appointment of manager Antonio Conte.
Conte has signed an 18 month contract with Spurs today.
Former Tottenham midfielder O'Hara told Sky Sports: "This is the manager we wanted from the start. The Nuno situation wasn't a bad sacking, it was just a bad appointment and it didn't work out. The players weren't reacting to his style of football, they didn't like his training so it was just a bad fit.
"Conte is the perfect fit. He plays attacking football, he's a winner, he knows what the club needs to go forward. It's an absolutely amazing appointment.
"The players need someone like him in charge. He's going to give them discipline, he's going to get them organised, he's going to get the best out of this team.
As a manager, he's got passion, he personifies everything that Spurs are about. I love his passion on the side of the pitch and I cannot wait to see him in the dugout. I think the players need a manager like him because they were so lacklustre against Man United at the weekend, there was no passion and no intensity. Conte will bring everything that we need.
"I think he'll win a trophy… This man knows how to win. He's a born winner, he knows how to get trophies over the line. Tottenham are still in every competition this season so there are trophies there to be one so he needs to get the group organised and playing with some fire in their belly because at the moment, it hasn't been good enough.
