Chelsea midfielder Kai Havertz had mixed emotions after scoring in their 1-1 draw with Burnley.

Although it earned the Blues a point, the Chelsea performance should have yielded all three against a Burnley side that survived a host of chances for the home team.

"What was missing was some goals," declared Havertz afterwards.

"Burnley had one chance, they scored one goal and sometimes that is football, but we could have improved our finishing skills in the game.

"We had a lot of good chances but we also scored just one goal so we lose two big points for us so of course it is frustrating. We did a very good game but as I said, sometimes that is football and you have to accept it."

Havertz also reported he was okay after colliding with a pitchside LED board.

"I had a lot of pain so I just thought I have to try to run again and sometimes in a game the pain goes away, but it was okay for me. I scored the goal so then you have good feelings and it is okay."
