Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira praised the home support for victory over Wolves.
Vieira was also full of praise for the board.
He said: “Since the first day I came I knew the foundation of this football club allowed me to work well. I've got really good support with the Chairman and Dougie [Freedman]. This is a club who want to improve and do better every year.
"This is a really exciting challenge for me and the players.
“This [the fans] is one of the reasons we're doing so well at home. When we are going through a difficult period the fans understand that moment and give the support the team and players need. This is one of the reasons this football club is a special place."
