Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate insists he is "flourishing" at the club despite his minimal playing time this season.
The Frenchman, signed from RB Leipzig in the summer, has played just four times this season.
But Konate is adamant he will continue to grow at Anfield and eventually break into Jurgen Klopp's starting line-up.
He told the club's match-day programme: "You have to be patient and just keep working hard and then you hope to be able to follow a similar path.
"I'm thinking of players like Sadio, Divock Origi or Naby Keita who allowed me to integrate well with the group as they helped with the communication aspect right from the start.
"So there was never a barrier with the other players, which also helped me to settle in more easily.
"In reality, I get on pretty well with everyone. I can have a laugh with all of them about anything really. Robertson, Van Dijk, Gomez. So no, I don't think there have been any barriers at all.
"It's gone superbly well, right from the start of our pre-season training and I am happy and flourishing here at this club."
Konate added: "Whether it be at Paris FC, the Sochaux Academy or at Leipzig, wherever I've gone to, there has always been strong competition for places and I've always come out of it well.
"So I said to myself that if I sign for Liverpool, it will certainly be at another level, but I have confidence in my ability and I am a Parisian, and you know what Parisians are like!
"So I'm going to do everything I can to be able to earn my place in the side here, either in the short-term or looking further ahead.
"Which player wouldn't want to be playing more matches? That's a given.
"For sure I'd love to feature in more games and of course win some trophies too. They are my main aims."
