Tottenham striker Harry Kane insists he handled well a failed move to Manchester City over the summer.

Kane pushed to join City, but was blocked by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

Reflecting on City's attempts to sign him, he said: “There was a lot of talk over the summer.

"It is the first time in my career that has happened.

"That is part of being a big player, dealing with those situations and I think I dealt with it well."
