Everton's sporting director Marcel Brands has responded to reports of talks with AS Monaco for Aleksandr Golovin.
Everton boss Rafa Benitez is keen to land another wide player in January and has been linked with Russia international Golovin.
Indeed, it's been suggested talks have commenced, with ASM insisting Golovin can only leave for a price of €46m.
Asked about the press reports, Brands told Sport-Express: "The information that Monaco asked us for 46 million euros for Golovin is absolute nonsense."
Golovin has a contract with ASM to 2024.
