Al-Rayyan coach Laurent Blanc was offered the Chelsea job.
That's according to former Arsenal star Robert Pires, who says Blanc was offered the Blues post after he left PSG.
He told Canal Football Club: "Blanc was close to signing with Chelsea, you should know, but he decided not to go, maybe because he no longer wanted to train at that time.
"Today he left for Qatar to find this feeling of training.
"And maybe that will allow him to come back to Europe"
