Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui was left delighted with their 2-0 Champions League win against VfL Wolfsburg.
Joan Jordan and Rafa Mir struck for Sevilla, with Lopetegui hailing their home support.
He said, "Our fans today spurred us on and that energy was key.
"Fortunately we managed to play at the level of one of the physically strongest sides in Germany and now we've got another opportunity. It's difficult but we'll go over there [to Salzburg] with all our energy to achieve something special in a very even group."
Goalscorer Jordan also said: "We had a concrete plan – they created very little danger, they had few transitions. We knew their transitions were very strong, they play with such physicality and speed. We did very well when we lost the ball and we couldn't press.
"We remained in a half-low block, blocking up the centre, and then when the ball went wide pressing there. We did that well and that was the key."
