Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says they're in the process of rejuvenating the squad.
At the club's General Assembly, Florentino discussed the squad's overhaul this past summer.
He stated, "To one of the great myths in our history, (Zinedine) Zidane, with eleven titles as Real Madrid coach. To (Sergio) Ramos, our eternal captain, the best defender in history. The man from La Décima, 22 titles. He will always be one of the great emblems and legends of the club. And (Raphael) Varane, who has undoubtedly left a mark difficult to forget and has won the admiration of all.
"We are taking steps and a new impulse from the squad. We have brought in one of the best midfielders in the world, (Eduardo) Camavinga who was sought after by many of the best clubs in Europe and who is nominated for the Golden Boy award. Great players have joined players who were on loan such as (Gareth) Bale, (Dani) Ceballos ... Seven players from the current squad participated in the last European Championship. And four with the Copa América. And three were in the Games with Spain.
