Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wanted more from the home crowd during victory over Arsenal.

Liverpool opened the scoring after Sadio Mane nodded home a header from a Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick in the 39th minute.

After the ball hit the back of the net, Klopp celebrated by cupping his hands to his ears in the direction of the Main Stand crowd.

Shortly before Mane's goal, the Senegalese international was involved in an altercation that led to each manager being separated on the touchline.

Challenging in an aerial duel with Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta was visibly furious which led to a heated exchange of words with Klopp near the fourth official.

After the pair calmed down, referee Michael Oliver booked both Klopp and Arteta for their actions.
