Leicester City striker Ayoze Perez admits hometown jeers were tough to take on Saturday.

Perez admits fans made clear how they felt during Saturday's 3-0 home defeat by Chelsea.

"To be honest, it's not a good feeling, but they're there to say what they feel," said Perez.

"We always try our best, sometimes it doesn't go the way we want it to. Then we want to be supported more than when we're winning. We need that boost."

On Thursday's Europa League game with Legia Warsaw, Perez added: "The main message is trying to make sure we get back to basics as well as we can. We are not far from getting results. The main thing is the mentality, that's what we're missing, the resilience. We are ready for this game. It's a must-win game if we want to top the group in the pool stage.

"They have to come to our stadium, which will be tough. We want them to know the 90 minutes are going to be long and tough. We are ready."
