Burnley boss Sean Dyche admits the international break has been disruptive ahead of facing Crystal Palace.

The Clarets host Palace on Saturday.

Dyche said, "It's great that we have so many that go away and they get that recognition, but sometimes they then have a day of training before a game, it works differently for everyone really."

On Palace, he continued: "They have done really well in their recruitment, there are some very good pros there and they have made a nice start to the season.

"I don't think we have been far away," he says. "But the table doesn't care if you were close, it cares if you won and one defeat in our last six league matches shows we are getting there and picking up the points."
