Everton attacker Anthony Gordon struck twice on his England U21 debut as Lee Carsley's side beat the Czech Republic 3-1 at Burnley's Turf Moor.
Gordon completed his first 90 minutes for the first-team during the weekend's goalless draw with Tottenham at Goodison Park.
That milestone came just days after he was handed his maiden England under-21 call-up following some impressive performances for Rafa Benitez's side.
Gordon made his true breakthrough under Carlo Ancelotti but has received more game time so far this season under the guidance of Benitez.
