The agent of Napoli winger Matteo Politano says he deserved to be in Italy's squad this week.
Politano was overlooked by Italy coach Roberto Mancini as the Azzurri stumbled into the World Cup qualifying playoffs set for March.
Agent Mario Giuffredi insists Politano should've been considered by Italy coach Roberto Mancini.
"In my view, Politano and Domenico Berardi are the best attacking wide men in Serie A, but it's Mancini who makes the choices and we have to respect his decisions," said Guiffredi.
This season, Politano has scored twice and produced four assists in 16 games.
