Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed he warned Ben Chilwell of challenges he would face at Chelsea.
Left-back Chilwell, who swapped Leicester for Chelsea in 2020, has had to fight Marcos Alonso for a starting spot this season.
Speaking ahead of the two sides meeting at the King Power on Saturday, Rodgers said the club made the right move selling Chilwell.
"He's a very talented player and he was great to work with here," Rodgers told a pre-match press conference.
"He's now moved on and it takes a bit of time. I said that to him before he left, that it takes a bit of time to adjust to the expectation.
"He's playing in a more advanced position so that allows him to get into the box. I always wish him well, and the club did well when we moved on."
