Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is confident his injury problems are behind him.

Loftus-Cheek has struggled for fitness over the past few years but he has broken back into the Chelsea team again under Thomas Tuchel.

The 25-year-old started his first Champions League game in six years in Sweden on Tuesday, as the Blues beat Malmo, and he impressed during the 1-0 win.

“I feel good physically and mentally I've left my injury behind," he said.

“It doesn't even come into my head now. I'm playing freely and I can concentrate on football and football only so I'm in a good place.

“I'll try to keep developing. I'm grateful for the time on the pitch that I have and I'll just keep giving my best."
