Missing hikers found after six hours lost at Cherok To’kun hills

BUKIT MERTAJAM – The two hikers who went missing at the Cherok To’kun hills near here have been found.

Penang Fire and Rescue Department personnel located the duo six hours after they got lost at 1pm today.

The man and woman were said to have been exhausted after wandering around to find a way out.

The duo in their 20s – who went hiking in the morning – were believed to have lost their way, and had called the Fire and Rescue Department for help.

The rescue team talked to the two and they were asked to share their location, after which a rescue mission was launched immediately. – The Vibes, November 3, 2021
