Manchester United chiefs are standing by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during the international break.

Solskjaer is under increasing pressure after Saturday's 2-0 home defeat against Manchester City, yet Old Trafford insiders have made it clear that they are not planning to sack the Norwegian imminently, says the Sunday World.

After Aston Villa boss Dean Smith became the fifth Premier League manager to be sacked this season on Sunday, Solskjaer is the red-hot favourite with the bookies to be the next to go.

Yet United chiefs seem determined to give their manager every chance to turn a corner, with sources telling Sky Sports they will not be making a change during this week's international break.
