Raul Albiol is delighted with his new deal at Villarreal.
The defender has penned terms to 2023.
He said, “I'm very happy to be able to continue with Villarreal for another season, thanks to the great care and attention I've received since day one. I need to continue working hard to give my best for the fans and for the club. I couldn't be happier.
“I need to go step by step and season by season. Everything depends on my performance and my work, but both my family and myself are very happy to continue here. Now, we need to focus on this season, as there is still a lot for us to do.
