Chelsea fullback Ben Chilwell has spoken for the first time since it was confirmed he has suffered an ACL injury.
Chilwell has spoken out about his disappointment of being sidelined with injury after it was revealed he had suffered a partial tear to his anterior cruciate ligament.
Chilwell posted to social media: “Very frustrating picking up an injury in a moment like this when I am really enjoying my football and playing in this team.
“I will do everything I can to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. Thank you for all the messages of support."
It has been suggested that the England international will be out for approximately six weeks, though it is hard to place an accurate time frame on this type of injury.
