Granada coach Robert Moreno admits there was a lot of frustration during defeat to Real Madrid.

Moreno was sent off for protesting the dismissal of Monchu as Real eventually won 4-1 on Sunday.

The coach later remarked: "I have clearly protested when I disagreed with their decision. It is very difficult to whistle, they have interpreted it that way. The referee will have seen something that I have not seen because he has seen it very clearly.

"With 1-2 we have taken hope, we have tried to change things, but the third goal and, especially the expulsion, did much damage."

Granada's fans applauded the players at the final whistle and Moreno added: "It's wonderful, that's what the fans are for, to support the team. They have interpreted that the team has left everything and has generated chances. They have tried their best, but the normal thing is for Madrid to beat you."
